Welcome to the memorial page for

Aaron Gene "AG" Marshall

May 26, 1996 ~ April 11, 2016 (age 19) 19 Years Old

Aaron Marshall, known as AG to the music world, was born on May 26, 1996 to Dr. Alycia Marshall at Howard County Hospital. He attended elementary school at Holy Trinity Day School in Bowie, MD and was a drama major at Thomas Pullen School in Hyattsville, MD from grades 6-8. Aaron attended Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, MD and graduated in 2014. In high school, Aaron was known for his amazing freestyle raps and energizing talent show performances. Following high school, Aaron attended Anne Arundel Community College where he was a transfer studies major on track to pursue a 4 year degree in Communications/Audio Production. He was recently accepted to Howard University. AG was an artist who always exceeded expectations. As a young performer, AG received extensive training in drama and dance which easily set the foundation for the beginning of a successful career in the music industry. At three years old, Aaron could be found listening and dancing to his favorite Michael Jackson songs. By the age of 12, he was writing his own lyrics, and rapping. Throughout his youth, AG attended a highly competitive performing arts middle school (Pullen) and competed frequently in dance competitions. Aaron impressed judges winning and placing in events such as the International Presentation of Performers (IPOP) in Las Vegas and the Kids Artistic Review National Dance Competition. He also performed locally in Silver Spring, MD, the Red Lounge in Washington, D.C. and Harlem, NY. AG’s lyrics, rhythms and poems have spoken volumes, touching on topics that most young people don’t get near. His style even caught the attention of the wellrespected producer of the Marylandbased studio “Breasia Productions”. His most recent music was recorded at Loud Water Studios in Forestville, Md. It is clear to all those who heard him that he was born to rap. AG planned to become an even better performer, with a love for creating great music. He spent the last 8 years continuously writing (over 500 songs), perfecting his craft. AG was a talented young artist and a true example of how hard work and dedication can bring you closer to your dreams. Aaron leaves behind his loving mother, grandparents (Jacinta and Stanley Marshall), Uncle and Aunt (Brian & Adriana Marshall), Cousin (Lucas Marshall), Grand Uncle and Aunt (Dr. Horacio Lewis & Elizabeth Baker), as well as other family, friends, and fans. As a leader and founding member of Starlife, he leaves behind a group of talented local artists that bring unique, quality music to the DMV area.In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to consider contributions to Anne Arundel Community College for a scholarship in memory of Aaron Gene Marshall that will support students pursuing a degree in the performing arts.
