Edna moved into her house in Berwyn Heights in 1965 and refused to ever leave it. Hers was the first house on the block, and she is the last remaining original owner. She knew all her neighbors and loved to help them out. Edna was very involved with her community, from participating in parades, to communicating with the mayor's office. She loved dogs and had many over the years. Edna was also a proud member of Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) and belonged to the Toaping Castle chapter in Hyattsville. She worked for AAA in Wheaton most of her working life. She will be missed by many.
