At times like this, words seem inadequate. We believe, those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day...unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved and missed. May we all find strength in the love of family and in the kind embrace of friends.

Wishing both family and friends our sincere condolences, and prayers for comfort and peace of mind. We will miss Uncle Alvin and those twinkling "Goad" eyes.

We were blessed to have you in our lives. Your kind heartedness, easy going personality and smile are only a few qualities that made you loved by many and will be missed by all. You worked hard all your life and no doubt you inspired many with your good work ethic and masterful gardening skills. Our deepest condolences and love to all the family. We grieve with you and miss Uncle Alvin.

Wasn't expecting this. I know people tell you when you lose someone that you should move on; not dwell on the past. Like we would ever want to forget you. Too many fond memories. I hope they serve something other than chicken up there and that your garden is a beautiful green. You will be missed.
