Baxter and I were very saddened to hear of the passing of Janice. Like Judy, we share fond memories of our days together (in choir) at Emmanuel College.
May God be with you all in the difficult days ahead.

The essence of Janice´s life was SERVICE..to her Lord and to all those around her. Every fiber of her life was an entire dedication to the Pentecostal Holiness Church..its doctrines, its administration, its leaders, its extended program of Missions, and of course to the ministry of her husband, Wesley.
It was my joy and privilege to be Janice´s roomate at Emmanuel College and what a great time of sharing and laughing during those days. She had graduated from Emmanuel High School ten years before; but at our graduation in the Spring of 1965, she had the highest aveerage of the class. (We coveted her ability of a photographic memory, as we had to hit the books, to pass exams!) How could I forget the day she entered our room and with starry eyes exclaimed: "I think that I am falling in love!" This happened, in God´s will, as she was tutering Wesley, and we all know the results: a frutiful ministry which touched many lives and in many continents.
Janice influenced people through her joyful and practical way of living out Christ´s commandments. Her memory will forever be treasured in our heart.

I will miss my dear sister so much. She was so talented, and had beautiful penmanship. She was the "smart" one of the family, was well versed in so many areas. She helped me get my first job at a savings and loan when I was 14 and helped me learn the importance of a work ethic. I have many pleasant memories of Janice. She was a faithful servant for the Lord and did many wonderful things in her life. I will never forget the faithful and loving caregiving of her husband, Wesley Holland Russ. He has been incredible for the past two years. God bless him for his servant's heart.
