When I heard the news, I was heartbroken but I also have a sense of peace that Helen is no longer suffering from any ailments that she may have had. I also take confort knowing that she is with those who passed on before her and that one day, we will be with them all.

Dear Bill and all the family,
May Her Memory be Eternal! I know I spoke with her once or twice on the phone in high school trying to get math homework. The obituary and the video are wonderful......and yeah, the kid in the CAT hat has a cool mom whose office was in the castle! Don and my thoughts, prayers, and love are with you.

Dear Bill and Alix,
What a blessing it was that we were able to visit Aunt Helen in those last weeks. Since her passing I have recalled many of those times that she visited in Nebraska. I remember when she first came to see us, we thought she had a funny accent. One of my fond memories of Helen was when she would help do dishes, that was before dishwashers. She would dry and thanks to her our dishes usually were washed twice by me. I guess I wasn't as thorough as she was. As I got older I always appreciated her sense of humor. She had a wonderful laugh that I will never forget. After she started her glass business she would always bring pieces out to Nebraska to sell or bargain with. I think she always went home with more items than she brought. She shared her love of the business with me and I appreciate certain types of glassware and even collect a few pieces. I hope these remembrances will bring back memories for you from the summers you visited in Nebraska. In loving memory Ruth

Sorry to miss the service. We knew Helen and especially Bill from NRL. David is now in assisted living memory care and I am currently in Egypt. Our thoughts are with you.
