Patricia L. (Lynch) McCoy

On Feburary 21, 2018, Patricia L. McCoy passed away peacefully. Pat was married 44 years to the late Thomas R. McCoy, Sr. Together they raised seven children - Mary Ann (m. Mike Coulthard), Andrea, Jeannie (m. Gary Bahena), Judy (m. Dennis Grady), Tommy, Tim, and Maureen. Pat was blessed with two grandsons, Connor and Casey McCoy, one granddaughter, Sarah (m. Matt Bettencourt), one great grandson, Tyler, two brothers, Robert and Richard, and one sister, the late MaryAnn Donohue. Pat was an avid baseball fan starting with her days as a loyal fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbits Field, rooted for all teams Notre Dame, and was known to handicap the horses. She loved traveling, reading, studying history, following politics, and working puzzles. Pat began her career in Washington, DC, with the Department of the Treasury. She was soon detailed to the White House, Office of the President. There she met her future husband Tom. Pat left government service to raise her family and returned to the private sector where she worked as a meeting planner. Pat was a devout Catholic and had a deep appreciation and love of the military. She leaves her family and friends with fond memories of her love of slot machines, hillarious driving stories, love of all things Christmas, and general love of life.
