Paul Christopher Edwards, 40, of Baltimore, MD, passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2017 due to cardiac arrest. Paul was born at Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly, MD on April 24, 1977, to parents Patricia (Zubres) and Claude Cass Edwards. He grew up in College Park. In his younger years he played softball for the city of College Park and worked several labor jobs. He was a very heart-warming individual loved by his family and friends. He loved the outdoors, fishing with his father, and playing pool with his friends. Recently he was trying to change his life in positive ways and celebrated his 40th birthday with his fiancé, Melissa. That evening he passed away.

Paul is the son of Patricia (Troy Davis) Edwards and the late Claude Cass Edwards; brother of Christine Hester; nephew of Joan (Jack) Sullivan, David (Pat) Zubres, Elmer (Denise) Edwards, and Debra Low; cousin of Christopher and David Michael McIntyre, Arlene and Elise; uncle of Stephany, Gloria, and Jared Hester; great-uncle of Gabriella Hester. fiance of Melissa Kay; Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, step-siblings, several cousins and hundreds of friends. Friends and relatives may call at Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Rd. Beltsville, MD 20705 on Thursday, May 4 from 2pm until the time of funeral service at 3 pm. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
