Robert Lee Brewrink

Robert Lee Brewrink, born on February 18, 1930 in Washington DC and formerly a 55-year resident of Berwyn Heights, MD and the past 5 years at Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD died Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

Robert Brewrink served in the United States Air Force. Graduated from the University of Maryland. Retired in 1983 as Superintendent of Vocational Education for Prince George’s County school system.

For many years Bob was active and supported all his children in the Berwyn Heights Bravados Majorette and Drum Corp. After his retirement Bob and Rena spent 15 years traveling all over the United States in their motor home enjoying the sights. They finally became snow birds and settled in Ft. Myers, FL for the winters.  His hobbies included wood carving, tool sharpening, small engine repairs, square dancing and playing games with his family. His family was important to him and his family loved him deeply.

He was a kind-hearted and well-respected person in his professional life and with all his friends and family. He greeted you with the brightest blue eyes and a smile that showed he was glad to see you. He will be missed by all!

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Rena Brewrink of Riderwood Village, four children, son David Brewrink of Leesburg, VA, three daughters Lisa Brooke of Salisbury, MD, Kathy Brewrink of Columbia, MD and Diane Parker (husband Andrew) of Charlottesville, VA; Grandfather of seven, Brian Brooke (wife Laura), Andrea Brooke, Matthew (wife Jayme), Michael Brewrink (fiancé Megan), Holly Atkins (husband Greg), Jessica Parker & Kevin Parker (fiancé Katelyn); Great Grandfather of six, Carter & Weston Brooke, McKenna & Miles Brewrink, Ethan & Ella Atkins; brother Howard Brewrink (wife Tena), brother-in-law Weston Sawyer (wife Bea) and several nieces and nephews.
