Carlos Salazar

Carlos Javier Salazar, 45, of Silver Spring, MD passed away unexpectedly on July 18th 2026. He is survived by his mother and father, Juanita and Dario, Brother and Sister, Gabriel and Joanna, and his children, Cassandra and Jayden. A protective Father, loving son, uplifting brother, and generous best Friend. His altruistic and empathetic qualities led him to his career in community outreach within the boy scouts, Immigration rights, Human Rights Campaign, and most recently WSSC. He was a social justice warrior for the Dads Foundation Championing equality for LGBTQ Youth. Funeral Services will be held at The Donald V. Borgwardt Funeral home at 4400 Powder Mill Rd. Beltsville MD 20705 on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 from 2-4pm.
