Edward “Ed” Gray Burton, a proud Korean War veteran of the United States Marine Corps, peacefully passed away on July 9. He was born on October 3,1933 in Danville Virginia, but grew up in College Park Maryland.
Ed is survived by his devoted wife of over 70 years, Eunice Burton; daughter, Sandi Yakupkovic; Son Paul (Scott) Burton; Granddaughters Brooke Morgan and April Yakupkovic; and three great-grandsons (Garrett, Mason, and Ashton) He loved the outdoors and was known for hunting, fishing, pigeon racing, flannel shirts, suspenders, his Marine Corps hat and walking stick. A service honoring Ed's life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18th at Donald Borgwardt Funeral Home in Beltsville, MD.
