Died on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Casey House in Rockville at the age of 76. Henry was born to Joseph and Henrietta Haslinger on December 2, 1948, the seventh of ten children. He grew up in Greenbelt, Maryland and graduated from St. Hugh's School, DeMatha Catholic High School, and the University of Maryland, where he majored in business.

Henry worked for many years as a right- of -way specialist for Prince George's County and later as a consultant. He volunteered at WAMU radio for 40 years and was active in many local Greenbelt committees. He loved baseball and lacrosse, covering the University of Maryland lacrosse team for WMUC, the college radio station.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Rev. Joseph T. Haslinger, Jr., and John Paul Haslinger and his sisters Joan Haslinger Mohan and Mary Haslinger Rogers. 

He is survived by siblings Henrietta Bradley, Robert (Karen), Nancy (James Johnson), Thomas (Joanne Colt), and Andrea (Gary Solis), sister in-law Betsy Mewshaw, brother-in-law Greg Rogers, many nieces and nephews, and friend Molly Lester.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made in Henry's name to DeMatha Catholic High School or WAMU.
