Born July 13, 1920 in Washington D.C., he lived with his family in suburban Maryland for most of his life. Beloved husband of Clara (Bacon) White, for 69 years. Loving father of Geoffrey (Mary) White and Laird (Anne) White; grandfather of Cecilia; also survived by a sister-in-law Marge White, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Preceded in death by a brother Ellis and two sisters, Kate and Winifred.
