Julie Eileen (Fernandez) Little, Beltsville Md., passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Monday, March 2, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born November 10, 1961, to Joseph A. and Mary C. (Melcher) Fernandez in College Park, Md., and graduated from Parkdale High School before enjoying a career with several banks, most recently IBEW LOCAL 26 FCU. She was a regular blood donor and very active at the Knights of Columbus in College Park. She was known for her optimistic, generous, and faithful spirit and is already dearly missed.
Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Rich; siblings Marie Jones, Teresa Hopkins, Katherine Smith, and Joseph and Kimberly Fernandez; and her beloved family by marriage, Robert and Sally Little, Jennifer and Mark King, Greg Little, Michael and Christie Foust, Mark and Emily Little. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Patricia Tarbrake. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and, in testament to her warm and charismatic personality, too many friends to count.
Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Red Cross or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
