Neale Stanford Millet died peacefully at Casey House Hospice on January 2, 2022, at age 76. He was the son of the late Thomas W. Millet III of Cape May, NJ and Frances Stanford Millet of St. John’s, Newfoundland. He was a beloved brother and uncle.
He is survived by sister Debbie McCarthy (Donald) of Dousman, WI, brother Thomas W. Millet IV (Rose Lennon) of Silver Spring, MD, sister Wendy Walker (Terry) of Laurel, MD. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews: Sean (Shelly) and Kevin McCarthy; Patrick, Katie and Molly Millet; and Maggie (Jake Null), Ian, and Duncan Walker, as well as a great niece and great nephew, Jordan and Colton McCarthy.
He retired from a proud career in the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He was stationed many places throughout his 20 years in the Air Force. He served in Vietnam, England, Washington, Nebraska and ended his career with a long stint in Las Vegas. Upon retirement he moved to Laurel, MD to be near his family. As a natural caretaker, he cared for his parents until they passed, and was a third parent to his niece Maggie, and nephews Ian and Duncan. He was proud to call them the children he never had. For Neale, family was everything.
