Entered into eternal rest at the VA Hospital in Washington, DC. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joni; his two sons Jake (Kat) and Sam; and a granddaughter, Emilia. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Janine), Michael (Linda), and Walter; also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Katherine and Dolores, and his brother John. Paul was a sixth generation Washingtonian, a US Army veteran, a member of the American Legion, Moose Club VFW, DAV and the Brookland Club. During the '80s and '90s, he operated Plants's Plants Gaden Center at East West Highway and Riggs Road.
