Rawleen Miller, 98, of Silver Spring, Maryland, formerly of Beltsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Miller; mother of Carol (Tom) Smith and Larry Miller; grandmother of Heather (Brandon) Urban, Brad Smith and Jonathan Smith; and great-grandmother of Charlee Urban and Arianna Smith.
At a young age, Rawleen performed with her all-girls orchestra, attended business college and moved to the Washington, D.C., area to begin her career. She enjoyed music, singing, playing instruments, gardening, ceramics, crocheting and knitting, reading and card games. She was loved by all who her knew her.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Donald V. Borgwardt Funeral Home, P.A., 4400 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville. A service will follow. She will be laid to rest at Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville.
