Rhoda Lucille Sandridge

Rhoda Lucille Sandridge passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at an assisted living home in Columbia, Maryland. She was 96 years old.

Rhoda was born on February 24, 1930, in Washington, D.C. She was baptized into the Catholic faith on March 20, 2021, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in College Park, Maryland, at the age of 91. Rhoda will be fondly remembered for her deep love of family.

She is survived by her son, Rick Marion (Lynn); her grandchildren, Rick (Aleah), Nicole, and Jennifer; and her sister, Josephine Ramirez.

Rhoda was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Marion; their daughter, Vickie Marion; and her second husband, James Sandridge.

Visitation for immediate family will be held on Monday, July 13th, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 4902 Berwyn Road, College Park, Maryland, from 10:00am -11:00am. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00am, with interment thereafter.

Rhoda's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
