Rose Marie Ceresa

Rose Marie Ceresa, née Scali, died on October 8, 2026, at Dion Assisted Living in Beltsville, Maryland. She was born on October 12, 1928, in Ohio, and lived a long life marked by devotion to her family, her work, and her faith.

For 20 years, Rose Marie served as an office secretary at Calverton Elementary School in Calverton, Maryland. In that role, she was part of the daily rhythm of school life, offering steady support and care through her work.

Rose Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Ceresa, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Their long life together stands as a lasting part of her story.

She is survived by her son, William Ceresa, and his fiancée, Michelle, and her brother, Frank Scali. May her memory remain a source of comfort to those who knew and loved her and may the love she shared continue to be carried forward by her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on October 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11007 Montgomery Road, Beltsville, Maryland 20705. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20906.
