wife of the late James Harry Walker; mother of Brenda (Pete) Hill, James "Vince" Walker, and the late Rita M. Perkins; grandmother of Jeff, Chris, and Cara; great-grandmother of Mandie, Brandon, Eric, Kelsey and Mason; great-great grandmother of Zoey, Maddox and Kaysen; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Valerie was a member of the Beltsville Lions Club and VFW Post 8950 of Lanham, MD.
