Suddenly on the morning of November 15, 2022 at his home in Silver Spring. Beloved husband of Carolyn H. Brannon. Beloved brother of Deborah (Bill) MacNeal of Williamsburg, VA and Barry (Pam) Brannon of Mt. Airy, MD. Beloved brother-in-law of Theresa and Donna Hoffmaster and Bonnie (George) Frazee, all of Laurel, MD. Beloved uncle of Kevin Brannon, Rachel (Colton) Muse, Allison (Brian) Hood, Brandon (Stephanie) Frazee and Caitlyn Frazee. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Mira Brannon. He loved his two Shih Tzu, Samantha and Scotty. He loved all sports. He was a baseball umpire for children's and youth baseball games for many years. He was also a referee for children's and youth basketball games for IAABO Board 12 for many years.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 9701 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20903
