Charon (Antoine) Walker

Charon Angela Walker, of Adelphi Maryland, succumbed to complications from Cancer and passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2023, surrounded by family. 

Charon was born to Ardon and Late Marjorie Antoine, on August 10, 1963, in Trinidad and Tobago. She lived a great life with her late Husband Mark Walker, children and family, until she immigrated to the US in the 90s with her kids Kia and Mark Walker. She then later welcomed Carlon, years later, which she always jokingly referred to as her favorite. Her kids was everything to her and she gave them the best life possible. She worked as a Nanny to many wonderful families throughout Maryland and DC, up until her last days. Charon was known for her generous heart and free spirit. She was always ready to offer a helping hand or encouraging words. She loved shopping, cooking, traveling and entertaining family and friends. She was the life of the party! Anytime a friend or stranger showed up to her house, she made sure they were comfortable and had a plate of food.  Her house was the go to for all family events, everyone was welcomed. 

Charon is survived by father Ardon Antoine; Her 3 amazing kids Kia, Anthony & Carlon; Grandchild Kendrick; Her 8 brothers and sisters ~ Susan, Joan, Joann, Monica, Kenneth, Anthony, Raymond and Ernil (Naya). Nieces & nephews~ Curtis, Shurla, Giselle, Camille, Candiss, Gory, Lendell, Sarafina, Jaloy, Kimaley, Anthony, Andrew, Akel, Akil, Chenoa and Charnin. A host of great nieces and nephews, including the present Dinelle, Dinae, M’Kayla & Jordan. As well as numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides.
