Cynthia Martha Bonora was born on December 20, 1932 in Bronx NY and died on August 4, 2022 in Pikesville, MD. She was the loving wife to Louis Bonora, and mother of Peter Bonora, Elyse (Bonora) Porambo, and Michelle (Bonora) McConnell. Grandmother of Joshua Bonora, Erica Bonora, Collin McConnell, Devin McConnell, Lindsey (Pormabo) Faulk, and Allison Porambo as well as a Great Grandmother to Meadow, Noah, and Nadia Bonora; Gavin Turner, and Adaline McConnell.
Cynthia was predeceased by her husband, Louis Bonora; son Paul Bonora; and granddaughter Erica Bonora. She was a former elementary school school teacher (36 years in both New York and Maryland) who was named in America’s Who’s Who of teaching twice. Cynthia was a 1955 graduate of Hunter College in New York, and Graduate studies at the University of Maryland. She was a volunteer at Calvert Marine Museum in her retirement, then a longtime resident of Heartlands Senior Community, where she also served as president of the resident council for many years.
