Evelyn (Stewart) Adkins

Evelyn S. Adkins, age 95, passed away peacefully on Friday March 5, 2021 at Arbor Ridge in Silver Springs, MD. Born September 14, 1925 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Lillian and George A Stewart SR.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Arthur (Rusty) W. Adkins JR, two brothers George A. Stewart JR, James Stewart and one sister, Jean Hull Woodward.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Geraldine A Warner (Drexel) of AL and Dorothea K Adkins of CA, three grand daughters Linda J Gagnon (TN), Sandy J McTier (GA), Debra L Lautenschlaeger (SC), 8 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Albert J. Adkins of Pittsville, MD and numerous nieces and nephews across the United States.

A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held when the department of health allows more then 30 people to gather and people have been vaccinated.
