Matthew J. Rock

Matthew J. Rock, loving father, son, brother, and devoted friend, died unexpectedly on September 25, 2021 at the age of 51. Matt is survived by his daughter Kathleen Zara Rock, father John Rock and stepmother Gail Rock. He is also survived by his eight siblings and their spouses: Jay Rock, Beth (Shawn) Gallic, Greg (Renee) Rock, Eileen (Tom) Falk, Jim (Sarah) Rock, Tom Rock, Mary Rose Rock and Megan Rock. Matt is predeceased by his mother, Kathleen Rock and brother, Christopher Rock.

Matt faithfully served his country as a Coastguardsman, an agent in the Border Patrol, an officer in the Metropolitan Police Department and as a Federal Air Marshal.

Matt touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. He was a positive, funny, generous and kind person who loved and valued his family above anything. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
