Mildred "Millie" Ann (Rohls) Hense

Mildred A. Rohls "Millie" Hense of Edgewater, Maryland, 86 years of age, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023 at Spring Arbor, Crofton, MD.

She was born in Berwyn, Maryland on April 21st and graduated from High Point High School in 1955. In 1956, she married William F. "Billy" Hense, Jr.  and had two daughters Cheryl Ann and Jill Elaine. She was Grandma to three wonderful grandsons, Craig (Kelly), Chris (Emily), and Corey (Laura). She also was Great-Grandma to five beautiful great-grandchildren, Noah, Olivia, Knox, Connor, and Hayes. Millie also leaves behind her son-in-law Kevin, sister Barbara Jean, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Millie was a ray of sunshine; she would always find time and would be the first to volunteer to help her family, friends, and neighbors. She worked as a cafeteria attendant for Prince Georges County schools for 25 plus years. In 1984, Millie and Billy moved to their dream home in Turkey Point, Maryland. There, you would always find a gathering with Millie’s delicious food, steaming crabs, and wonderful conversation.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy, and daughters, Jill and Cheryl.
