Miles David “Mighty Miles” Vargas
It is with great sorrow that we announce the untimely loss of our beloved Miles. Miles David “Mighty Miles” Vargas passed away on March 5, 2022. He was a cherished son, grandson,
brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. A micro-preemie at birth, he faced a myriad of challenges setting him apart from his peers in many ways, yet he always managed to keep a smile on his face and a giggle in his voice. Miles defied pediatric issues with a resilience and fortitude inspiring all who knew his story. He was born on January 21, 2016, to parents Michael and Keira Vargas, in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Miles loved going to school, learning about everything there was. There was not a single thing he did not love about school – he especially loved coloring and drawing and he would make
pictures for his family. Miles showed his work to all who would look. Miles made friends everywhere he went. He loved spending time with his daddy and mommy, brothers, cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, all his family, and special friends.
Miles is survived by his parents Michael and Keira, brothers Michael and Mason; his maternal grandparents Delmy and David Anaya; Jose and Claudia Montoya; and paternal grandparents,
Rene’ and Sandra Vargas; Lucy and Jose Fernandez and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church. The family encourages all who knew Miles to attend to share memories and celebrate his life. **ST. MARK'S ASKS THAT ATTENDEES KINDLY WEAR MASKS WHILE AT CHURCH**
