Shirley E. Adams

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, & niece went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. 
She was Born December 1, 1946, married to William Allan Adams for 53 plus years whom, she was joined "at the hip with". She was born in West Virginia, to her mother Juanita Seacrest Cosner & her adoptive father ; Omer O. Cosner, who both went home to be with the Lord before Shirley, who are there to welcome her home. 
Shirley worked for approximately 36 plus years in government , at USDA Department of Agriculture, in Washington DC and received a number of meritorious awards for superior achievements & accomplishments.
She is survived by her husband William  Allan Adams, her two daughters, Lisa M. Adams,  and Cindy D. Hresko  ("JD" John Hresko)  2 granddaughters  Ashley Hresko, & Alexa Hresko. Brother, Jonior Moreland "Gene", niece Kim Moreland McCannon,  sister Yvonne Moreland Cuppett, & Aunt Waneda Cosner Cornett (94) Relatives and friends may call or visit for the viewing on Wednesday, January 27,  from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Rd, Beltsville, MD 20705 and Thursday, January 28, Service's for Shirley E. Adams will be held at 11 a.m. at Trinity Assembly of God, 7800 Good Luck Rd., Lanham, MD 20706, followed by Interment at 1:45 p.m. Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville
