William was born to the late Wallace and Mary Flythe in Suffolk, VA. He leaves behind his loving wife JoAnne; two sisters, Virginia and Lessie May; three brothers preceded him in death, Wallace Jr., Lorenzo and Bobby; one son, Jon Jones; three daughters, Sylvia, Tolida and Twanda (preceded in death); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, many other family members and friends. William was a music lover, mostly oldies. He enjoyed dancing and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
