Ada, again, our deepest condolences to you, your father, your brothers and their families, and all of your extended family and friends that your mom touched. Have been thinking of you and praying for your family during this difficult time. Will hold all of you in special prayer, and especially in several hours when you'll be at St. Joe's. May the Lord bless and comfort your family in the days ahead. Every girl in her Girl Scout troop, student at St. Joe and kid on the K.C. swim team was blessed to have known her. I loved being a part of Girl Scouts with my own girls and it often brought back fond memories. My most sincere condolences.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all -- Mom B was one of the inspirational women in my life -- she was my Girl Scout leader all the way though, a swim team mom, a St. Joe's mom , & a second Mom -- she taught me many lessons in life. I grew up & moved away -- but I thought & think of her often -- I always looked forward to her Christmas card with the family update. God has called an Angel home to be with the other Mom Angels. She will be joining them & will be writing out swim ribbons & talking about their awesome families -- She will join them in watching over all of us!! We will always have the memories!! My deepest sympathy.

Knowing you over the years, Barb, has been a real pleasure. In all my visits to the Maryland campus over the years from Florida, you and Walt were the only ones that had time to socialize with me during my visits. That always meant a lot to me. Mrs. B. was my girl scout leader - how many years ago? - and I feel we never lost touch, since she has also been a dear friend of my mom's all this time.
