Dearest Auntie Edna, We want you to know that we will miss you very much! We know that you, uncle Jackie (John Harry) and daddy (William Eugene Ferrar Padgett ... uncle Jackie's older brother) as well as mom (Dora Lucille Royce Padgett) along with nannie, pap, grandmother Ferrar and granddaddy are all together again in heaven :-) Buddy and I feel so very lucky to have found you so we could visit you while you were in the nursing home; what a great time we had visiting, seeing you laugh, smile and enjoying your flowers that we sent ... plus planning a BJ's lunch in the nursing home ... BBQ your favorite.

Till we see you again dearest Auntie Edna, we all are sending you lots of love, hugs and kisses ...

Message from Frances Notley, Regent, Toaping Castle Chapter, DAR
January 23, 2017 9:07 PM

Edna enjoyed participating in our DAR Chapter activities for some time until her injuries kept her at home. She was serving as our Chaplain during that time, and was sorely missed. We all hoped she would return. But she endured more trials as time went on. We shall miss her smile, sense of humor and her love for DAR. We honor your memory and you service for "God, Home, and Country."
