Jane Catherine Brady, 90 of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Rd., Beltsville, MD. Jane was born in Bronxville, NY on July 23,1926. She was the beloved wife of James R Brady who preceded her in death on May 7, 2003, the daughter of William Gleason and Marion Petit Gleason and sister of William Gleason Jr. who predeceased her. Her children Virginia M Brady and her spouse Jaimie Trautman, James R Brady, Larraine C Perry and her husband Alan Perry and Lawrence W Brady survive Jane. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren Matthew Brady, his wife Brandy and their children Hannah, Isabelle and Nora, Kyle Brady and his partner Cedric Chan, Stephanie Cain, her husband Michael and their daughter Brynn, Hannah Cush and her husband Vincent and Claire Brady. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends as well as the Al-Anon community of Greenbelt, College Park and Silver Spring, MD mourn her. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth and Families, 4901 Eastern Ave., Hyattsvile, MD where she volunteered for many years, Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Dr. Suite 100, Rockville MD or The Riderwood Benevolent Care Fund, 3110 Gracefield Rd., Silver Spring MD. The family of Jane C Brady wishes to thank the staff of Arbor Ridge for their excellent care of our dear Mother during the last two years of her life.
