My thoughts and prayers are with you. I loved your Mother. It was my supreme pleasure and privilege to know her and sit next to her in the Fort Myer Chapel Choir for 40 years. She was so incredibly accomplished. She was truly an unforgettable person.

My deepest condolences to all of you on your loss
My mother felt Mrs Ando to be her dearest friend
My mothers health does not permit her to attend the service and I am far away in San Francisco but my thoughts are with you all How lucky we were to grow up across the street from you

Thanks, Fran. Our mothers did have such a great friendship. I have a wonderful picture of your parents and Mom on one occasion when they drove out to my place in Maryland. I remember they got lost---this was before GPS---but they got here eventually. I'll try to get a copy to you.

What a wonderful, accomplished woman despite hardships thrown her way. Definitely a fine role model and a loved mother and grandmother. And, a wonderful, well written obituary. So sorry for your loss.

Losing someone is never easy but let your heart be at peace knowing she is not suffering and has been reunited with your dad. What a beautiful lady!
