Elsie Forbes

Vesta Elsie Nyrop Forbes passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 31st, 2018; born December 7th, 1917 in Nebraska. She was a mother to 7 children, grandmother to 15 and a great grandmother to many. She lived her life on her own terms. A passionate advocate for those with no voice, fabulous cook, lover of all animals, naturalist with an incredible green thumb and a feisty spirit. She will be missed, but lives on in our minds, hearts and souls. 

The family will be holding a private graveside burial on Monday, June 4th , 2018. Shiva will observed at the Brooks family home on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 at 9:00 am and 7:30 pm.
In addition, there will be a celebration of Elsie's life on June 24th, 2018 at 4pm at Buddy Attic Park, Greenbelt, Maryland. Rain or Shine.
