I have lost one of my oldest and dearest friends, Linda and I were friends since elementary school and through Girl Scouts together.... high school and college. She was bright, creative and independent....her talent for music soared above everyone else that I knew.   So many memories, so many adventures.  My dad's pet name for Linda, was "Huckleberry"....he loved to tease her.    We stayed in touch over the years, even as I moved away and nurtured a family, she retired from the Navy (band) because of her deteriorating health, but she always had time for me and many others. I visited with her last year on my trip home to Maryland.... and so glad I did .  I shall miss you very much, my dear friend.... somewhere in heaven you are planning & organizing that Music and Art Camp we were always going to have together.
RIP Linda Casselberry.

I remember Linda as an amazing piccolo player and good friend when we served together in the U.S. Naval Academy Band. She was one of the most generous people that I’ve ever known, and had such a soft spot for every feline that she met. She certainly met life’s challenges with courage. She will be sorely missed but I am thankful that she has been freed from her physical suffering and is experiencing God’s love.

I remember Linda with a kind and warm heart. She was always such a kind person to run into at the Navy Band. I am happy you will no longer suffer from MS. Memory Eternal, Linda. Fair winds and following seas.
