Margaret Lee Berg

Margaret Lee McConnaughy Berg, aged 78, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2018 at the Oak Manor nursing facility (formerly Sanctuary at Holy Cross) in Silver Spring, MD.  She was born on March 29, 1940 in East Palestine, Ohio.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas, and all four children, Martha, Steven, Matthew, and Alice.  She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  A sweet, caring woman who loved all children, relatives or not, will be greatly missed.  The family will greet well-wishers at Borgwardt’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7pm and Wednesday from 9-11am.  Interment to follow at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home and Cemetery at 12 noon.  The family would like to express their gratitude to all those at Holy Cross who cared so lovingly for her while in their care.
