Dalisay Gallardo Lopez

Dalisay Lopez, age 94 of Greenbelt, MD was born on May 7, 1931, in Manila, Philippines was sent to her eternal home on August 11, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Evaristo Villasor Lopez and Marina Gallardo Lopez.

Dalisay is survived by her loving siblings, Honorato Lopez, Gloria Lopez, Mercedes Emperado, and Christina Ulis. She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces who adored her deeply. Dalisay was preceded in death by her brothers, Raphael Lopez, Miguel Lopez, Jose Lopez, and her parents.

Dalisay took classes at Fordham University and Prince Georges Community College while working in various industries. She worked in the New York as an assistant designer and accounts receivable specialist at Raleigh Haberdasher Department Store in Wheaton, Maryland for many years. Following that, she was an accounting staff member at University of Maryland University College until her retirement in 2000.

Family get-togethers for holidays and any occasion delighted her, especially when it provided her the opportunity to prepare a few Filipino dishes.

The family will receive friends and family for Visitation/Service at the Borgwardt Funeral Home 4400 Powder Mill Rd, Beltsville, MD 20705, Wednesday August 20th from 4:00-6:00 PM. 

Church Viewing at St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church 135 Crescent Road Greenbelt, MD, Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 9:00am 10:00am followed by a funeral mass from 10:00am-11:00am.
