On Saturday, August 30, 2025, Delores "Dee" Aplin passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Jesse J Aplin Jr. Devoted mother of Jesse “Buck” Aplin III (Teresa), Kathryn Hensley (Ricky), David W Aplin, the late Danette Wyne, Robert Glenn Aplin, and Douglas B Aplin. Loving grandmother of Gary Krot Jr (Amanda), Kristofer Hensley, Kevin Hensley (Kathleen), Jesse “Josh” Aplin IV (Jennifer), John Thomas Wyne, Kelsey Aplin. Proud great-grandmother of Cara and Gavin Krot, Kaylee, Khloe and Kaitlynn Hensley, Logan, Lilly and Lorelai Hensley, Finn Vollmer-Wyne, and Declan Aplin. Daughter of the late Robert Lewis and Mary Virginia Durst. Sister of Robert Durst, Janet Kearney, William Durst, and the late Gwendolyn Hardisty. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
