Sheila-
It has been a long time since we walked the halls of Hamilton Elementary School and taught together. I heard the sad news and felt the need to reach out to you and your family. I am sending to you lots of my love and prayers. I know this has been a difficult time for you and will continue to be but I hope that you find some peace in Jacai's sweet memories.
I remember you as a mother who gave her boys unconditional love and had great expectations for them. You and James clearly raised two handsome, respectful young men who went on in life to positively touch the world around them. I will always remember Jacai's smile, the way he looked up to his big brother, Jurea, and how they were inseparable walking through the halls at Hamilton usually with you just a few steps ahead or behind. He was a fun kid and as I look at his most recent pictures, I still see that sweet lil' boy who was such a good kid. XOs to you from afar!

I am a resident of Prince George's County and a member of First Baptist Church of Glenarden. I just want you to know that I am so grateful to you all that you raised such a heroic and outstanding young man. We as Prince George's residents are so thankful to have had him in our police department. My grandson is only 3 and he loves to see and talk to the policemen in our county. He says he wants to be a policeman when he grows up. I pray that as he grows he becomes the type of young man that you all raised. A man of good character and strong faith.

God Bless you all,

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of jacai. I worked for many years at chichester . My sons also graduated from chi and spoke of what a great guy jacai was. I met him thru his grandfather jim colson, who was my supervisor at one time. When he introduced me to him,he said this is my grandson,he was so young , he said "he's going to be someone one day " . Truer words were never spoken . My boys speak to his strength of character,in fact my oldest said " that's the one thing that stands out the most, not only was he always nice ,but when you met him you had a sence of his character" .That really says somethig about someone so young making such a profound and lasting impression. My extended family, brothers and sisters alike, who never met him but feel your great loss extend their sympathies also . I pray for you at this heartbreaking time

To Sheila and James,
Sorry for your loss. I remember watching Jacai and Jurea while Sheila went back to school at night. Jacai was such a sweet, caring and loving child; which I know grew with him as he became an adult. Thank you for sharing a piece of his life with me. Jacai "thank you" for your service to the PG County. I will forever remember Jacai.
For the scripture reads:
John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
Praying for you Strength, Patience, and Peace that passes all understanding.
